65 wrecks and 7 reef sites and guides. Wrecks marked "Certificate wreck" were part of Bermuda's former Shipwreck Certificate programme for visiting divers.
We have compiled the information on this site from the most reliable sources we could find - contemporary newspaper reports, official records, published histories and archaeological studies - and every page lists its sources. Much of what is known about Bermuda's wrecks (and dive sites) comes from divers, salvors, fishermen and their families.
If you have more information, photographs, documents or memories about any wreck (or dive site) on this site - or one that is missing - and would be willing to share them, please email [email protected]. Anything we use will be credited to you, with your permission.
Records disagree on a few points we would especially like to settle: The Airplane (KB-50J tanker), HMS Cerberus, Colonel William G. Ball, The Dry Dock, Kevin's Wreck (Gleana), Pollockshields, San Antonio, Stonewall Wreck.
